Top hats and bow ties, that’s my fashion. What I really want is a double breasted wool tailcoat, but those are harder to find these days. I like pre-victorian clothing mostly, if you’ve ever seen the BBC Pride & Prejudice, Colin Firth is basically my role model. I’m the guy walking around like Fred Astaire in Swing Time, would I really steal a quarter? If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go rent that movie right now.

But that’s just fashion. If you asked where my interests lie, you would probably hear that I’m a physics major planning on going into architecture, but little else. As it happens, I’ve devoted a considerable portion of my life to Japanese swordsmanship, and to the study of Japan in general. But I’m also a huge fantasy and sci-fi geek. I like Dr. Who and Star Trek, and besides fantasy, I’m not particularly well read. Before college, the majority of my social life was centered around Dungeons & Dragons, and I’ve played the piano, the saxophone, and the guitar through various parts of my life.

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time learning to be easy-going and friendly, because ultimately, my friends are what really matter to me in life. I’m not very good at being social, and my rhetoric is terrible, but I’m working on that. I have a few good friends, and I’d like to think that they can rely on me for comfort, support, or just a good game of pool. I pretty much just want everyone to get along.

So I’m just a cheesy old romantic. I wear top hats and bow ties, watch romantic comedies on the weekend, and my friends and loved ones mean the world to me. This website is intended for those who would like to know me a little better, or who simply identify with some part of what I’ve said.
